Using the plotline of an amusement park run by a mysterious, otherworldly figure, Shusterm Full Tilt is an interesting book. Full Tilt is about a boy named Blake who is headed in the right direction.
If you think you’ve got a hold on what’s happening, then think again, because you never know for sure what’s really up when it’s a Neal Shusterman book you’re reading. Seems nfal everyone in his life is off-track including his ‘living-for-the-thrill’ brother and his sbusterman hopping mother.
It had a very unique theme. A book like Unwindfor example, has a really “out there” premise, but what brings the terror home to us so that it’s unforgettable is the kernel of truth that gives the story its impetus. A compelling story of breath-taking adventure in a bizarre world of your own thoughts and fears designed to succumb you forever.

However, this book has, shustermam one way or another, added more odd habits and spice to every character to have stronger personalities. And the only way to get out is to get through seven rides. Thanks for telling us about the problem. Cheap thrill but a good comfy read. Nonetheless, Cassandra’s character hasn’t been delved into but I thought sometimes, something needs to remain as a mystery.
I honestly didn’t care about his fears and the not-so-scary carnival rides, but the characters, or at least some of them, were really well developed. Dark Carnival where the male protagonist has to survive all the rides where others disappear forever. What I most liked about the book was the way Shusterman was able to make you feel like you were shustermn the carnival and these rides were also your biggest fears. At times the action was either too toned down and rattled off too quickly or dense and difficult to follow, but the book read quickly and I enjoyed it.
Despite my undying love for Neal Shusterman, I stayed away from this book for a long time.
